Momma Goldberg's is the quintessential college town sandwich eatery. It opened next to the Auburn campus in 1976, and it is still "rolling" strong. The nachos are one of their signature items, and Auburn students love them. Simply melt pepper jack cheese and slices of jalapenos over Doritos.

I’m experimenting with making beef jerky on my Traeger smoker. Basically, slice the meat, marinate it, and then smoke at 180 degrees for 4-5 hours. My first try was this peppered jerky. I followed the Traeger recipe, but plan to tweak it a little. It came out really well, although was a little salty. I used a 3 pound bottom roast that I got at Publix for $4.99/lb. I sliced it into strips that were approximately 1/4 inch thick. Slicing is easy because the meat was partially frozen. Also, remember to slice across the grain. Marinate overnight
Remove the meat from the marinated and pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle both sides of the meat with more crack pepper. Cook at 180 degrees for 4 1/2 hours. Ingredients:
